Booking Terms & Conditions

Business: Northwest Detailing (“we”, “us”, “our”)
Customer: The individual making a booking (“you”, “your”)

By booking a service with Northwest Detailing (online, by phone, or in person), you agree to these Booking Terms & Conditions.

1) Booking overview

1.1 Northwest Detailing provides vehicle detailing services booked through designated booking calendars (card or cash).
1.2 All bookings are subject to availability and operational constraints.
1.3 A booking is considered confirmed once it is successfully submitted through the relevant booking calendar and, where applicable, a deposit has been received.

2) Booking types and payment method

2.1 Bookings may be made through either:
a) Card payment calendars, or
b) Cash payment calendars.

2.2 Card bookings
A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to confirm the appointment.

2.3 Cash bookings
No online deposit is required. Full payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in advance.

2.4 We reserve the right to restrict or refuse future cash bookings where there is a history of repeated cancellations or no-shows.

3) Pricing and service scope

3.1 All prices are based on:

The selected service

Vehicle size category (Small / Medium / Large)

The condition of the vehicle at the time of service

3.2 Prices assume a vehicle in reasonable condition for the selected service.
3.3 If a vehicle is found to be outside the expected condition (including, but not limited to, excessive pet hair, staining, sand, strong odours, smoking residue, or heavy neglect), additional time or charges may be required.

3.4 Any additional work or cost will always be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.
3.5 We will not carry out additional chargeable work without your consent.

4) Cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows

4.1 Cancellations or rescheduling may be made free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.

4.2 Card bookings
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will result in the deposit being non-refundable.

4.3 Cash bookings
Failure to attend a booked appointment (no-show) may result in:

Loss of booking access, and/or

A requirement for partial or full payment in advance for future bookings.

4.4 Late arrivals may result in a reduced service or rescheduling, depending on availability.

5) Opening hours and booking restrictions

5.1 Standard opening hours:

Monday–Friday: 09:00–18:00

Saturday, Sunday, and Bank Holidays: Closed

5.2 No bookings are accepted outside business hours.
5.3 All jobs must be completed before 18:00. No exceptions apply.
5.4 Same-day bookings are not accepted, except for Full Valets with a minimum of two hours’ notice, subject to availability.

6) Vehicle drop-off and collection

6.1 Vehicles are normally dropped off during business hours unless otherwise agreed in advance.

6.2 Overnight or night-before drop-off is permitted by prior arrangement only.
6.3 Where overnight drop-off is agreed:

Vehicles are left in the yard

Vehicles must be locked and secured by you

A lock box may be provided if staff are unavailable

6.4 Overnight drop-off does not imply:

An earlier start time

Priority over other bookings

Confirmation beyond the agreed booking

7) Personal belongings

7.1 You are responsible for removing personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to the service.
7.2 We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to items left inside the vehicle.

8) Pre-existing damage

8.1 We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear, or defects.
8.2 Where appropriate, the condition of the vehicle may be recorded or photographed prior to work commencing for transparency.

9) Right to refuse or discontinue service

9.1 We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a service where it is unreasonable to proceed due to:

Vehicle condition

Safety concerns

Access limitations

Material misrepresentation of the booking

9.2 In such cases, any work already completed will remain payable.

10) Payments

10.1 Accepted payment methods:

Cash

Card

10.2 For card bookings, any remaining balance is payable on completion of the service.
10.3 For cash bookings, full payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in advance.

11) Refunds

11.1 Deposits are non-refundable where cancellations occur within 24 hours of the appointment.
11.2 No refunds are due for completed services.
11.3 This section does not affect your statutory consumer rights under Irish law.

12) Changes to booking terms

12.1 We may update these Booking Terms & Conditions to reflect operational or system changes.
12.2 Any changes will not apply retrospectively to confirmed bookings unless required by law.

13) Governing law

13.1 These Booking Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
13.2 Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
